Annie on TV and online

Leaving my job as Editor-in-Chief of Parents magazine in the late 90s was no easy decision. But as they say, when one door closes, another opens. I found myself walking through the door of ABC-TV’s Times Square studio, where I was delighted to join a wonderful "family" of colleagues, including Diane Sawyer, Charlie Gibson, Joel Siegel (whom we all miss very much), and many others who are still there. This year marked my 10-year anniversary as Good Morning America’s parenting contributor.  I now have the pleasure of working with Diane, Robin Roberts, Chris Cuomo, and Sam Champion.  And I’ve had the honor of interviewing hundreds of parents and experts for the 400-plus parenting segments I’ve worked on over the years. Here are a couple of my favorites.

In 2007, I was thrilled when ABC News Now offered me my own show, Parenting with Annie Pleshette Murphy. During this half-hour broadcast, I tackle some of the key challenges and triumphs  today’s parents experience and offer practical advice on everything from curing colic to discipline, from choosing a car seat to becoming a grandmother.  In some cities, the show airs weekly on digital cable, but if it’s unavailable in your area, you can find it online.  To find out if your cable provider carries ABC News NOW or to see clips from the show, visit the website. A few of my favorites are below.

In addition to working with ABC, I’ve offered parenting advice on other websites:
